The 2011 Subaru WRX STI sedan was equipped with lightweight Forgestar F14 forged wheels with a wider track than the stock wheels. Both the front and rear axles were fitted with 19 x 9.5 Forgestar F14 wheels for better grip and performance. The legendary Nürburgring is looked at as the standard for racetracks around the world by automakers. Companies bring their cars to the track to test, race, and set lap times. For quite some time, the barrier for production super cars was set at 7:30, until Nissan broke that with the GT-R back in 2008. Now, the GT-R is back with new Forgestar F14 wheels, for even better performance.

Although therecorded time was met with a large amount of controversy, there was no denying the performance figures that the GT-R was achieving. Upon its return to the legendary racetrack, the Nissan GT-R was fitted with new Forgestar F14 wheels. Each of the Forestar Wheels is made using the same technology featured in Formula One and IndyCar racing to reduce weight and retain strength. The rotary forged flow formed wheels help to reduce weight at the hub, thus decreasing acceleration times, improving handling, and reducing stopping distances.

On the vibrant blue Nissan GT-R, new Forgestar F14 wheels were chosen for their low weight and seven double-spoke design. To contrast the exterior paint, all of the Forgestar wheels were finished in a custom gold powdercoat paint. The front axle was equipped with 20 x 9.5 Forgestar F14 wheels, while the rear wears a pair of 20 x 10.5 with corresponding performance tires.

The 996 Porsche 911 Turbo was the first Turbo model to utilize water-cooled technology. Up until the 996-generation, Porsche had been using air-cooled engines. The use of water-cooling enabled Porsche to improve engine performance. Just like the modern water-cooled technology featured in the 996, the DPE SP-C5S Porsche wheels feature innovative technology and styling.

For a car that led the way with water-cooled turbocharging technology at Porsche, DPE chose to fit a set of their innovative DPE SP-C5S wheels. The all-wheel drive, 420-horsepower Porsche 911 Turbo was given a set of the five double-spoke wheels in a staggered 8.5 x 19 front and 11.5 x 19 rear fitment.

The DPE SP-C5S wheels are made using advanced forging technology. By manufacturing each wheel using a forging process, DPE was able to use less material to achieve a given strength, resulting in a lightweight and strong wheel. The lower weight helps to improve overall vehicle performance and shows off the power produced by the twin-turbocharged engine.

Each wheel features a classic step-lip design and modern concave center that gives the impression of power. The three-piece Porsche wheels wear a matte black finish and contrasting polished chrome lips, making them stand out against the classic Porsche silver background of the 996 911 Turbo.
